~30 minutes of active work, the rest is vendor turnaround

What to expect

One application, step by step.

  1. 01

    Create your account

Set up your account and open your application — no upfront fee.

  2. 02

    Subject diagnostic

A 30-question, difficulty-calibrated diagnostic in each subject you teach.

  3. 03

    Criminal clearance

Most countries upload their own national police or criminal-background clearance; US, Canada, and UK residents run an automated criminal-record check later instead.

  4. 04

    Résumé

A current résumé or CV — our team reads it before advancing you to the vetting checks.

  5. 05

    Our review

We look at your file and green-light your vetting — the checks above this point are all free.

  6. 06

    Identity & English

A government-ID and selfie identity check, then a structured English assessment.

  7. 07

    Teaching sample

Every candidate records a short teaching sample for staff review.

  8. 08

    Contract, training & offer

Contract and payout setup, onboarding training, and your tier offer.

Before you start

What you'll need

  • A government-issued photo ID
  • A current résumé or CV
  • Your national police or criminal-background clearance from your country — unless you're in the US, Canada, or UK (automated check instead)
  • A quiet 30 minutes for the subject diagnostic
  • Webcam access for the teaching sample
Step 1 · AccountNo upfront fee

Start your application

Create your account and we'll guide you step by step — no upfront fee, no payment required to apply.

Adds an English fluency assessment + a short async teaching sample to the pipeline. BA+ required. You can still be offered Independent if Certified doesn't pan out.

By continuing you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

No upfront fee

You pay nothing to apply. To cover the third-party checks in our vetting, the platform recoups its one-time vetting cost by retaining your earnings from your first completed session. From your second completed session onward, you keep your full payout — it comes out of earnings, never out of pocket.

Minimum bar: BA required, B2 English, 100+ hours teaching experience. See full criteria.
